Previously, in order to receive a connection voucher, businesses would need to complete an application form, filling in details such as number of employees, turnover amount and company registration number. Metronet (UK)’s pre-registered packages now mean that SMEs no longer need to fill in this application or even complete a claim form following the installation of their service.
Kate Rennicks, Head of Voucher Operations at Metronet (UK), said “Pre-registered packages have really helped to remove the barriers that SMEs faced when considering the voucher scheme. Now that it is easier than ever to access the grants, we’ve seen a massive increase in the number of businesses making the change to superfast speeds. The funding is only available until the end of March 2015, so companies need to take advantage now.”
