n2s has announced the appointment of Rob Bolton as chief executive officer.
Bolton (pictured) joined n2s as its operations manager in 2019 before being promoted to director of operations in 2021. He has led operational improvements and strategic growth for the past three years.
With this promotion to CEO, he is now responsible for driving and implementing the company’s growth strategy.
Bolton will look to expand market opportunities for n2s core services encompassing technical sales, data centre decommissioning, and copper cabling granulation. Additionally, he will oversee n2s’ consumer IT device reuse and remarketing operations.
Bolton commented, “I am excited to be leading our highly committed, talented and expanding team. Together we will continue to set new standards for technology lifecycle management and IT asset disposal.
“The market opportunity for our circular and sustainable core services is considerable as [businesses] strive to [put] sustainable solutions [in place] – we can support them every step of the way.”
Simon Taylor, chairman, n2s, added, “Rob’s strong engineering and proven operations background and deep knowledge of the IT recycling industry makes him ideally placed to lead the company’s next stage growth.
“He will ensure the company continues to operate and scale at maximum efficiency while also spearheading our drive for significant growth.”
Prior to joining n2s, Bolton spent over 25 years at automotive engineering group Delphi Technologies where he held various roles across engineering, facilities, operations and project management.
He has formal qualifications in lean manufacturing and project management, including a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in mechanical and manufacturing engineering from Anglia Ruskin University.
