NEC said it is committed to the unified communications market and its portfolio offers resellers the choice of premise-based systems, hybrid and the latest cloud-based UNIVERGE BLUE UCaaS solution (pictured above).
Coventry-based HBT Communications, a UK reseller with over 30 years’ experience in telecoms, is one of the latest NEC Partners to be on-boarded. HBT Communications has adopted the SL2100 small business PBX and the SV9100 communications platform for SMBs. The company also made full use of the online training for sales and technical teams.
Ajmal Hussain, managing director, HBT Communications, explained, “NEC is a perfect fit for us – we would recommend them to other resellers. We’ve enjoyed a smooth transition thanks to the NEC Partner Program along with excellent support from Distribution. The demand for VoIP technology and homeworking capabilities the NEC portfolio provide are very strong in the marketplace. We will also be investigating the UNIVERGE BLUE cloud solution going forwards.”
Other new distributors include Italian distributor Easy Com and South African channel company Huge Management. Andy Openshaw, chief operating officer at Huge Group said, “NEC’s strong, long standing history and commitment to business communications, the company’s financial stability and their dedication to offer a rich choice of solutions to address current and future market needs, were decisive reasons for us to seek this partnership.”
