Extreme Networks has appointed a new channel director in ex-Cisco executive Gordon Mackintosh, who will shepherd development of the company's Extreme Partner Network.
As senior director of worldwide partner program and sales business development, Mackintosh is tasked with providing Extreme's global partner ecosystem with new sales and growth opportunities. He will identify and implement new sales and partner initiatives mapped to the vendor's strategic goals.
Mackintosh will collaborate with Bob Gault, Extreme's worldwide sales, services and channels EVP, who also previously worked at Cisco.
