M2 is offering its eCommerce platform to IT resellers, office suppliers and managed office providers, with HP and Office Depot the first to launch white label versions of the website. M2 will brand the site in the reseller’s corporate identity and pay a share of the hardware profit plus ongoing service revenue, with no upfront investment required.
Users can search for and buy printer hardware, based on their specific document needs, as well as bespoke services to their exact requirements, all online.
John Taylor, Chief Executive of M2, said: “What Print Simplicity does is truly unique. This proposition cuts out the entire sales process, saving businesses weeks’ worth of valuable time and enabling them to benefit from world class MPS at the touch of a button.
“It is also an opportunity for resellers to replace transactional relationships with managed service contracts. M2 has always had its customers at heart – and that helped us recognise that buyer behaviour is changing at a quicker rate than the wider MPS industry is currently delivering.
“Resellers can now benefit from M2’s innovation by offering this platform to their own customer base. M2 will brand the site in the reseller’s corporate identity and pay a share of the hardware profit plus ongoing service revenue. There is no upfront investment and early adopters, alongside HP and Office Depot, will see the most benefit from this unique proposition.”
Neil Sawyer, Commercial Channel & Education Director (UK&I), for early adopter HP added: “This e-commerce proposition allows HP to offer a managed print service, utilising HP print technology, to SMB customers who would typically have a transactional relationship with us. HP’s unique partnership with M2 provides us with a formidable proposition to the SMB market. We believe that the simplicity of the site, competitive pricing and transparent contractual terms will be of great benefit to HP and M2’s customers."
