Walker has over 25 years of experience in enterprise storage channel leadership. Before joining Nexsan, he worked at Kaminario where he established the UK & Ireland channel. Prior to that, Walker spent many years in Value Added Distribution, including holding EMEA roles at Avnet and setting up the UK arm of specialist distributor Commtech. With his background, experience and reputation, Walker will be joining the Nexsan team with the primary goal to develop the channel and grow sales in the region.

We have some fantastic loyal VARs who have been with Nexsan from the start and we want to accelerate their growth, while introducing new partners to the profitable Nexsan opportunity. Partners typically tend to enjoy superior profit margins when selling Nexsan compared to rival vendors.”
The appointment of Walker follows the recent announcement of Assureon Cloud Transfer, Nexsan’s latest advanced archive storage system. The platform provides cloud transfer to and from an on-premises solution, allowing customers to utilise the best features of the cloud, while offloading cold data onto a secure on-premises hardware platform, for enhanced security and reduced IT costs.
