Available from distributor Nimans, the SL2100 gives resellers even more compelling reasons to sell hardware-based technology as part of NEC’s strategic evolution and business transformation – a three phase process to deliver better customer solutions and support to resellers.
As part of this ethos NEC is producing a complete ‘box set’ of around 50 videos to aid installation and boost reseller knowledge. Developed by NEC’s technical team they include dedicated guides on analogue trunks, SIP trunks, CPU installation as well as a quick set-up overview.
“This is the first time NEC has done anything on this scale,” says John McKindland, Nimans’ Head of Solutions. “The videos range from two minutes up to 20 minutes and are both engaging and informative. They reinforce why there’s never been an easier time to onboard as an NEC reseller or install the SL2100 which is an easy system anyway.
“Often the training element of taking on board a new system can be the greatest obstacle in terms of time, effort and investment. But NEC, supported by Nimans is taking any reseller pain away.”
John highlighted: “They are subdivided into individual playlists so are easy for resellers to navigate and quickly find. They are designed as excellent reference material to support the SL2100 quick install guide.”
The SL2100 is ideal for home workers, office-based personnel and on-the-road professionals thanks to a multitude of built-in apps – designed to offer considerable savings and functionality over and above alternative hosted solutions as it negates the cost and maintenance of an external PC server.
In addition NEC has also been produced end user videos about NEC’s ‘InApps’ or built in applications, spanning the SL2100 and larger SV9100. They comprise InHotel (hospitality), InReports (call management), InUC (conferencing and collaboration) and InGuard (toll fraud defence).
