The programme is designed to strengthen customer relationships and expand Cloud sales opportunities by enabling partners to provide direct billing, sell combined offers and services, as well as directly provision, manage and support Microsoft products and services. With immediate effect, Outsourcery will own the complete customer lifecycle, allowing it easily to sell Office 365 subscriptions and help customers take advantage of Cloud services by owning the entire billing process and directly managing support.
Commenting on the announcement, Outsourcery Co-Chief Executive Piers Linney said: "Our inclusion in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Program, which has only been made available to a limited number of Microsoft partners, allows us to sell, bill, manage and support Office 365 and own the complete customer lifecycle. We are able to further integrate Office 365 with our own offering down to billing whereas previously the billing and contractual relationship was managed by Microsoft. As we have already proven, we can add material value for end-customers by integrating Office 365 with our own cloud capabilities to create hybrid solutions for commercial and public sector organisations.”
Phil Sorgen, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp, said: “The Cloud Solution Provider Program puts our partners at the centre of the customer relationship. Through participation these partners have demonstrated dedication to helping our mutual customers successfully move to the cloud."
