MSPs
The Channel really showed what it is made of as 117 individuals joined the hair growing fun joining Comms Business and Adept Telecom’s Movember campaign. Running from 1st to 30th of the month our band of “Mo Bro’s” started the month clean shaven and went on a journey of discovery changing their appearance in order to raise money for what we believe is a great cause.

As a group we have to date raised a total of £22,114, an amount which was given a massive boost when Daisy’s, Daisy Mo’s joined our effort adding their own team fund of £10,344. Matt Riley, Daisy Group CEO was our largest individual fund raiser with a whopping £6196 raised personally!! Well done Matt.

Other individuals worth a mention are STL’s Brendon Cross who raised £1392 and James Byles of team Mo On who raised £1100… great job!

Miles Bossom, Publisher of Comms Business and Ian Fishwick of campaign sponsor Adept Telecom issued the following joint statement; “The Channel is resilient, we all know that but there are some things in life that are beyond all of our control and cancer is one of them. Movember is a fantastic charity which is growing in stature every year with more people joining in the hair growing fun in order to raise much needed funding. The effort made this year by our members is fantastic and shows just what we can do when we make a little effort. We would like to thank all of our members and those generous people that donated to our cause”.

In the World a total of over £71 million has been raised with the Uk coming second with £17 Million to Canada who raised £23 million. Our network group is currently placed 16th in the UK so a great effort indeed!

Movember is a charity which raises awareness of mens health issues such as Prostate and testicular cancer, which are two far too common diseases.
