The company, headquartered in Austria with offices in the UK, Germany, France, Netherlands and USA, develops software solutions for ONTAP focused storage environments and high-availability solutions for SAP and MetroCluster environments.
It describes its core solution, CryptoSpike, as a ‘best-in-class’ security and data governance solution for the data centre which eliminates system downtime and data loss risks. Currently it has 450+ customers across retail, finance, telco, healthcare and manufacturing.

Following an increased demand for ransomware solutions due to data breaches and security concerns, the initiative aims to drive the company’s growth across Europe and North America. Arlin said that ProLion’s growth targets are ambitious, and that the company is seeking channel partners who will help them to achieve these.
