The previous campaign saw a huge number of boards swapped out for a Promethean ActivBoard 500 Pro – and at least 25 percent of these were schools switching from a competitor board. The rest were happy to upgrade their current Promethean board for the latest ActivBoard 500 model.
The campaign was due to finish at the end of July, but will now run into the new school year, ending on 31 December 2013. Resellers wishing to benefit from the campaign this year can offer schools £300 cash-back, or free in-school training worth £399, when they trade in their old board (Promethean or a competitor board). Resellers get £200 per upgrade, so they profit too. This offer beats any other on the market today by some distance – especially as it can be applied to just a single board, whereas others have a multiple board minimum.
