At the same time Retell has launched call recording options for Polycom Clear One and Konftel audio-conferencing units. Options include recording to cassette, digital (for later transfer to a PC) or direct to a PC. Retell’s Conference Call Recorder Lite (CCR Lite) enables calls to be saved directly to the hard disc of a PC as a .wave file. Trial price for the CCR Lite is £49.99 ex VAT. A spokesman for Retell said ‘this product will prove the concept of call recording to users of audio conferencing at a very low cost’. Customers requiring more extensive recording can upgrade to Pro version software, which compresses recordings to save disc space. All Retell products include help desk support and money back warranties.
