Henigan will help define and oversee the next stage of Rises’ evolution continuing its mission of being the choice infrastructure service provider to the UK SMB market through this period of market growth for cloud services.
Andy Burton, CEO Rise, commented: “We are delighted to announce the promotion of James Henigan to managing director. He is exceptionally qualified for the position with his wealth of experience and channel industry knowledge. The intricate understanding of the company and its inner workings that he has developed over the past three years, made the decision even easier. We all look forward to continued success with James at the helm, moving into what will no doubt be a crucial period for us and the industry as a whole.”
Having arrived from Microsoft in 2010 as head of products, Henigan was subsequently appointed to the executive team the following year as product and IT services director, where he lead the company’s activities in defining and managing a portfolio of IT and cloud services for customers and partners.
In his new role, Henigan will build on the success of Rise’s partner model, refining the programme and helping partners target and capture new business, adding more direct customer education and continuing to evolve the technical service offering and platform.
Henigan commented: “I am proud and privileged to have been offered the position of managing director and very much look forward to the challenge of developing the business, and leading the company into what is sure to be an exciting period. We have a fantastic platform to build on here, both to help our current partners really make the most of the cloud opportunity that is before us, and also recruiting new partners that are committed to transform the way their customers run their IT.”
