One customer which has been affected significantly is Simwood, who have announced they have had to cease their mobile offering as a result.
They announced the news on the Simwood blog:
"We again apologise but get the strong feeling that you understand this was beyond our control. We’d repeat that had Ofcom allocated us the resources we asked for and rightly needed, continued service would have been considerably easier.
This is not the end; the removal of the time pressure opens up several options that we will be exploring and we’ll announce something in due course if successful."
Not wanting to miss an opportunity and to ensure that companies feel as little pain as possible, Simetric are offering a rapid migration package to Limitless Mobile users if they agree a move over before Christmas 2016.
Gavin Sweet, Managing Director at Simetric said “It’s awful when a great business like Limitless Mobile goes under, no one likes to see that. While we can’t help their UK business stay afloat we’d love to help their customers switch to a viable alternative and keep their calls moving which is why we are offering this rapid migration package. Switching over can even offer Limitless customers an improved feature set. We really hope we can help service providers and MVNO’s out of a hole this Christmas”.
