In the tail-wind of the flagship high-end D785 executive SIP phone launch, Snom turns its attention to the price-conscious large installation segment seeking a reliable, high-performance general area device with basic telephony functionality.
“This phone is the first of the D1XX line, a series designed to do a specific job efficiently and reliably,” explained Snom’s CEO Gernot Sagl. “Large deployments requiring general area phones can now choose the competitively priced D120, but, as you would expect from Snom, this phone still offers design features that are unique in this segment. In 2017, we built a strong basis for driving Snom to the next level, and now in 2018 you are seeing us rapidly expand our product portfolio with high-quality, cost-effective new additions. We will continue to devote our resources to ensuring our customers get high-quality products and great services that exceed their expectations but at a surprisingly low price.”
The D120 is also Hearing Aid Compatible (HAC), is equipped with its own specially adapted firmware, has very low power consumption requirements, can be used via PoE (Power over Ethernet) and is compatible with Snom’s redirection services. Prices start at £64 / €73.00).
“January has been a busy month for us at Snom,” adds Sagl, “but we are only just getting started. We have ambitious targets and high expectations this year and we aim to achieve all of our strategic goals and increase market share.”
