Sparling, who joined Soft-ex in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer and General Manager, brings widespread experience in corporate management and the telecommunications industry to the role and has been instrumental in driving recent Soft-ex successes, delivering substantial year-on-year growth.
In his new role, he will oversee international operations, sales, marketing, human resources, engineering, customer advocacy and product development. Sparling will focus his efforts on leading Soft-ex strategy in the channel and enterprise markets with IP Hosted services and solutions, while continuing to expand into new overseas markets.

Sparling holds a BComm from University College Dublin and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He held a number of senior positions with Fitzwilton Plc before joining Soft-ex five years ago.
