The morning sessions will start with a welcome speech from Neil Gaydon, CEO of SMART Technologies, followed by a presentation by Scott Brown, President Enterprise, SMART Technologies, outlining the product roadmap of SMART’s solutions for the corporate market. Later in the day, there will be a presentation on the business opportunities that exist in the architecture, engineering and construction sector where SMART’s visual collaboration solutions are transforming how these sectors do business. SMART’s visual collaboration solutions recently won a BIMMY Award for product of the show at this year’s BIM Show live.
In the afternoon Tim Price-Walker, Enterprise Business Consultant at Steljes, will highlight the features, benefits and sales opportunities of the SMART Room System for Microsoft Lync. There is no doubt that Microsoft Lync has taken the corporate world by storm. Frost and Sullivan published its report - Communication and Collaboration technology trends to watch in 2014 and beyond - citing Microsoft Lync as one of the main technologies that organisations should be considering with the advice that “organisations should either jump on the bandwagon or get run over”. This will be followed by a presentation on the support and sales opportunities that Steljes Services offers its Enterprise reseller partners.
Attendees of the event will be given a tour of the newly refurbished purpose built solution suites and be shown how SMART’s business solutions help to improve collaboration within a range of different workspaces.
Natalie Harris-Briggs, Group Marketing Director at Steljes, comments “Throughout the history of the company, Steljes has built its reputation on being at the forefront of innovation and bringing the latest technologies to market. The first Discover 2014 event will give our Enterprise reseller partners an opportunity to network with key Steljes and SMART Board members whilst at the same time, helping them to understand how SMART’s visual collaboration solutions will enable them grow their businesses profitably.”
