With over 30 years of industry experience under his belt, Bob will lead a strong UK senior management team after a period of restructuring and transformation within the business, including Paul Crilly, who was appointed to the role of UK Finance Director in November 2015 having been CFO at Logicalis Australia since 2013, and Operations Director Natalie Matthews who has been with the company for over a decade. Prior to joining Logicalis Bob held senior sales positions at Dimension Data and Recite, as well as management roles at Datapoint and Chess Telecom.
Mark Rogers, CEO for Logicalis Group said, “Bob brings a wealth of experience to the role having spent the past three decades leading IT businesses in key sales and executive management roles. This is a fantastic time to be leading the UK business having restructured ourselves to meet the burgeoning needs of businesses looking to gain competitive advantage through digital transformation. I’m confident that Bob is the right man to lead the UK team as we move into this new phase of growth.”
Commenting on his appointment, Bob Swallow said, "We’re seeing a decisive change in leadership priorities across the world. We understand that prioritising digital transformation is front of mind for many progressive-thinking organisations, and therefore we’ve spent the past 12-18 months adapting our own business to support and serve our customers on their digital transformation journeys.”
“We’ve got a clear focus and go-to-market strategy and we’re delivering against it. This year our focus is on making Every Customer a Reference, and to achieve this, we anticipate growth in our core portfolio of solutions and services, investment in disruptive technologies and services, the simplification of our business processes, to retain and attract the best people and skills in the industry and drive service transformation to ensure we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. Logicalis has a rich pedigree of offering market leading services, and I look forward to driving the UK business forward.”
