Swyx Starts Technology Partner Programme

IP telephony vendor Swyx has announced Oak Telecom, the developer of call management software solutions has become the first company to take advantage of Swyx’s new Technology Partner programme, by certifying its aiOffice solution capable of integrating with SwyxWare, the software based Unified Communications solution from Swyx.

Swyx’s new Technology Partner Programme will provide a framework for 3rd party software and hardware vendors and SIP Services Providers to become fully interoperable with Swyx. The compatibility of Swyx and Oak products will give end-users the combined functionality of a software based IP communication together with the advanced call reporting functionality from Oak. It also gives channel partners the opportunity to provide a complete solution based entirely on software.

Executive Vice President at Swyx, Ralf Ebbinghaus comments on the new initiative, “The Swyx Technology Partner Programme is committed to meeting and exceeding the needs of Swyx channel partners by creating effective business relationships with innovative, leading edge companies. The programme will enable our complementary technology partners such as Oak the opportunity to get their products and services tested and/or certified so they can extend their functionality and market reach.”

He continues, “Through the Technology Partner Programme, Swyx delivers on its commitment to industry standards and open interfaces, creating new and increasing opportunities for its evolving partner community and the potential for collaborative delivery of exciting new solutions for its customers in the small, medium business and Service Provider environment.”
