Originally built in the 1970s as a British Telecom warehouse, Battersea Studios was later converted to a TV broadcasting and production centre. It is still used by media and creative companies as a location for photo shoots, television commercials and dramas.
Timico is headquartered in Nottinghamshire, which is also home to its purpose built 144 rack data centre and network operations hub. The London office is one of three further regional locations around the country also including Milton Keynes and Fareham.
Commenting on the move, Charlie Whelpton, Timico’s Director of Enterprise, said: “We have had a number of new people join the team recently in readiness for the delivery of our 2015 plan. The new office substantially increases the amount of desk space we have, providing the opportunity for both London-based staff and those working around the country to spend more time with clients in the South-East.”
