Laura, who works for NTA, won a chance to drive the Nissan GTR around the Top Gear track, following in the tyre marks of the Stig himself.
The prize was part of ICUK’s display at the Convergence Summit which featured a red Nissan GTR and certainly drew a lot of attention from the show’s attendees and fellow exhibitors.
Punters were also invited to see the control panel in action, an incredibly powerful platform, completely designed, developed and supported in-house which allows ICUK’s 600 resellers to operate as independently as they wish.
Director Paul Barnett said: “We had really positive response to the control panel which we displayed on the stand, including some attention from others in the industry.
“The show afforded us an opportunity to make links with businesses in the north which we may not normally come into contact with from our base in South London.

ICUK’s control panel operates broadband, telecoms and web hosting and has powerful features such as a leased line quoting tool and a spam filter. It has been developed over 12 years and its updates regularly come from ideas pitched by resellers.
