In its new role, Telecom Resource will help UK partners and customers move away from legacy PBX and telephony systems towards more efficient cloud-based platforms, and support wider digital transformation efforts from Unify customers across the UK.
Unify has reported over 90% of its revenue in the UK coming from its 119 channel partners.
Robert Wiles, VP Channel Sales for UK & Ireland, said: “We’re seeing increasing demand from customers looking to migrate from legacy systems to more cost-effective and efficient cloud-based telephony and collaboration platforms in a bid to increase organisational productivity and support wider digital transformation projects. As this process can often take months, if not years to complete, customers understandably want to work with partners who have skills in both their legacy and future solutions.
“Telecom Resource’s appointment gives our legacy customers and partners a route to access software upgrades, licenses and Unify’s DX Technical Design Team. We’re committed to giving partners and customers the maximum amount of flexibility to either remain on their platform or transition in a more effective way to new Unify environments.”
Don Moore at Telecom Resource, said: “I have been lucky enough to work with Unify for over 30 years. This appointment marks a new chapter where we can continue to deliver enhanced value to Unify’s partners.”
