VegaStream Announces New Software Release at Convergence Summit

VegaStream, the award winning leading developer of reliable, cost effective VOIP gateways, has today announced the release of it’s 8.5 software which sets a new standard in interoperability and functionality. It also allows voice calls from Microsoft Office Communications Server to be routed over Internet Service Provider’s SIP networks with the option to pass calls over the PSTN in cases of ADSL failure.

There are a host of new exciting features specifically designed to enhance end users experience of SIP services and reduce processing requirements of service providers IP networks. In addition resilience and security functionality have been further enhanced with the introduction of SIP TLS and SRTP.
