Comms Council UK has announced the winners of its 16th annual Comms Council UK Awards.

Every year, the Awards, sponsored by Magrathea, acknowledge accomplishments within the unified communications and VoIP industry.

The winners of the 2024 Comms Council UK Awards were announced at a ceremony at The IET in London on the 26th September. This year’s winners included Poly AI, 8x8, bOnline, Bandwidth and VoipStudio among others.

The award categories for this year were: Best Communication Provider (SME), Best Communication Provider (Enterprise), Best SOHO Service, Best Enterprise Service, Best Multinational Service, Best Innovation, Best Comms Application, Best Comms Device, Best Industry Enabler and Outstanding Achievement Award.

Many companies also received a “highly commended” award as the judges thought that, in such a strong set of entries, more than just the winner in each category deserved to be recognised for their achievements in creating and delivering excellent products and services.

Eli Katz, chair of Comms Council UK Council, said, “It’s been another fantastic CCUK Awards ceremony, congratulations to all the winners and highly commended companies. The Awards continue to highlight the importance of our sector as unified communications powers the UK.

“The spirit of innovation and competition continues to be strong right across the sector, as demonstrated by our Women in Telecoms Group founders Tracey Wright and Katie Baron. They realised that more needs to be done in our industry to support women in their roles and champion them and help reach leading positions in the sector. They greatly deserve their Outstanding Achievement award for starting this group and making it the force that it has become in our industry.”
