Also included in the new release is a new bulk editing tool, giving partners the ability to change settings across entire companies and departments. For example, changing the overflow rules for entire departments with a single click or changing call recording policies across an entire business.
Continuing Xelion's policy of hardware independence, Xelion 7.2 includes auto-provision support for the new Yealink T5x handset range and the SNOM D1 and D7 Series handsets. This allows Xelion partners to offer a wide range of the latest endpoint devices and simplifies installation and setup.
Commenting on the release of Xelion 7.2, Dave Reynolds, UK Managing Director stated: "At Xelion we have a policy of continual technical improvement, ensuring that the Xelion platform is always leading the market in terms of features and functionality. With the release of Xelion 7.2 we continue our close integration into Office 365 and other Microsoft applications such as Power BI. Xelion's open RESTful API allows third-party apps such as MS Exchange and Office 365 to be easily integrated seamlessly with the service. This allows our partners the freedom to design bespoke solutions for their customers with best of breed apps that really meet their requirements, instead of a 'one-size-fits-all' service."
