Both shared and dedicated options are available to suit customers’ specific requirements. Shared racks are ideal if customers have a small amount of equipment, whereas dedicated racks provide more capacity with a lockable and private environment for the customer’s hardware.
Bob Pickering, Network Manager at Heywood based Datamatters said about the Data Centre: ‘The physical location is one that is away from the high-risk city centre, whilst being easy enough to reach when we need to get onsite.’
In the past 12 months Zen has reduced the price of its Managed and Dedicated server products by as much as 25% and the value of its Colocation products has been enhanced with a wider range of rack and power density options as well as the inclusion of generous bandwidth allocations at no additional charge.
Michael Lomas of Wynsors World of Shoes the North’s value retailer said: ‘I was very impressed by the personal, expert guidance supplied by Zen while we built our solution. Having used many hardware and software service providers in the past, Zen stands out because of their personal but professional approach.’
The new Data Centre is monitored around the clock by automated management systems, an onsite central monitoring team, CCTV and onsite security guards. It is also fitted out with state of the art power and environmental management infrastructure providing 2MVA capacity.
‘We are delighted to be celebrating the Data Centre’s first anniversary and to be able to offer this Colocation deal to businesses in the Region. Demand for hosting services is growing, and we believe our customers deserve the best. Investment in our Data Centre allows us to provide exactly that and also meet increased requirements for capacity in the North West,’ said Steve Warburton, Sales Director.
