Zen again achieved top marks in the survey of 3,100 broadband customers. The company’s customer satisfaction score of 86% - an increase from the previous year - was five points ahead of its nearest rival and well ahead of the so-called ‘big four’ – BT, Virgin Media, Sky and TalkTalk.
Zen is one of only two ISPs to be awarded coveted Which? Recommended Provider status and achieved five star scores in more categories than any other company. Zen was given top marks for reliability, ease of contacting, customer service and technical support, and a four-star rating (equal to or above any other provider) for speed. This is the 11th time in total Zen has held Which? Recommended Provider status.
In an article to accompany the survey results, Which? stated: “Zen Internet is our top pick…Customers praised Zen’s reliable service and love the support from its staff, with 71% of respondents describing Zen’s customer service as excellent.” Which? said that Zen’s service, “puts better-known brands to shame.”
Zen’s wide range of broadband options and flexible one-month contracts were also singled out for praise.
Andrew Fryatt, Zen’s managing director for residential and small business, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that not only have we again been named a Which? Recommended Provider, but also that we have come out on top of another survey of broadband users.
“We’d like to thank all our customers. Awards like this are not something we take for granted, and we work hard to go above and beyond to meet their needs and expectations. Our aim is to be different to other providers, by continuing to keep our customers at the heart of everything we do.”
The award of Recommended Provider status for Broadband ends a memorable fortnight for Zen. Last week the company was also shortlisted for the title of Telecom Services Provider of the Year in the Which? Awards 2017. These awards are separate from Recommended Provider status, and Zen is the current holder of the title.
