Zigor, the international producer of energy conversion systems, electronic power devices and renewable energy solutions, has appointed Gavin Banks as its UK Sales Manager. Gavin brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the IT channel, and in UPS systems in particular, having formerly worked at independent distributor Micro-P, Acal Electronics and Liebert (Emerson). He also set up his own business that sells, installs and maintains UPS systems, which is how he discovered Zigor.
Zigor launched in the UK in 2008 and Gavin’s focus is to drive sales through the reseller and distribution channel. He says: “When I first looked into Zigor products I was surprised at their quality as they provide exceptional value for money. When the opportunity came to join Zigor, I thought it seemed like an excellent fit. I know the distribution channel well and Zigor is a good brand with an aggressive strategy in the UK.”
