In his new position overseeing the EMEA region, Soares will be working with his team to identify channel growth opportunities and strategies to help Zyxel’s channel partners drive their own business for more growth and profitability. His focus with the channel will be to help value-added resellers (VARs) to evolve their offerings to become managed service providers (MSPs).
Soares, whose previous industry experience includes a 16-year career at NETGEAR and 12 years in management at Hayes Modems, will be working closely with channel partners to establish how the company can increase its business with its existing reseller base. In particular, he is keen to raise awareness of Zyxel’s unique fully-fledged offering of Nebula cloud-managed networking products.
“Zyxel is the only networking vendor to offer a truly complete portfolio of SMB networking products ranging from advanced security gateways with comprehensive malware detection, switches, and wireless access points all under the Nebula cloud-managed network platform. Nebula is the perfect network management platform for our VARs to use to help them make the transition to becoming Managed Service Providers. We be helping VARs who want to make the transition to becoming MSPs” says Soares.
