The 5i Innovation Centre in Reading is now open and partners are invited to make use of the showcase facilities. The centre plays host to the latest in Cisco IP Communications with a suite of complementary applications to deliver the complete converged solution.
Partners can use the Innovation Centre for two purposes, firstly as a demonstration suite for customers and secondly as an education centre for sales and presales staff. With an extensive range of applications running on Cisco CallManager and CallManager Express, the Innovation Centre covers everything from basic voicemail and video surveillance right through to unified messaging and full contact centre solutions.
Peter Howells, Managing Director, 5i said: “We opened the Innovation Centre to meet the demand for a demonstration suite where partners could present full working solutions to customers. We have always been able to demonstrate the full range of applications and this dedicated suite allows us to extend our reach to partners and their customers. We are confident that once partners invite customers to the centre they will differentiate their proposition and increase the value of the IP Communications sale. The centre is also a safe environment for partners to learn and understand more about the importance of applications in a converged environment”.
The Innovation Centre also houses a dedicated training suite for 5i’s Channel Training Programs. This brings a new dimension to the courses as delegates can be shown the technology and then guided through workshops to understand how to identify and sell IP Communications solutions.
