Zycko Academy, the training arm of Zycko, the value-added distributor of convergent storage and IP solutions is to deliver new instructor led courses in a new Northern training facility.
The new training facility, which is based in Altrincham, in Greater Manchester, is modern and offers well equipped dedicated training rooms, break out areas and good travel links. This facility will cement Zycko’s presence and serve its customers in the North of England.
Peter Barnes, Head of Training Services, said: “The new training facility will compliment our existing training facilities at Zycko’s HQ in Cirencester and enable us to provide an invaluable service to all our reseller partners as well as our vendor partners. This expansion is a direct result of market demand in this region.
“We will launch the new facility by hosting the last sessions of the current CommVault training course and aim to begin scheduling other courses soon after.”
Zycko Academy will begin by hosting the last session of the current CommVault training course, CommVault Galaxy Systems Administration Level 1, which is scheduled for September 11. Zycko Academy will deliver CommVault’s new instructor led training courses from October and the schedule for these courses will be released in September.
CommVault’s new courses will be more functionality based and will cover backup and archive systems with a follow-up examination to mark completion. Successful trainees will receive vendor-recognised certification which ensures they have grasped a sufficient understanding of, and can operate, the CommVault application.
The UK training partnership will offer four new courses. A three day Galaxy System Administration course, a two day CommVault System Engineering course, a two day CommVault System Support Course and the Disaster Recovery two day course.
