Further Expansion at Mayflex

As business continues to grow, Mayflex are taking on four new members of staff to join their internal sales department.

Mayflex has seen a significant increase in business over the last 6 months across the complete product portfolio which has lead to a greater number of calls coming into the sales office on a daily basis and with the recent introduction of products such as Mobotix, IP intelligent camera range and the Minicom KVM series the number of calls is only set to rise.

The current team of 12 internal sales staff provide an outstanding service and between them have considerable experience and knowledge in the cabling and networking market. The four new members come from varying backgrounds - Annika Francis has worked at Mayflex for 2 years in the customer services area, Claire McAllister joins from a cabling and networking background previously working for Computacenter and Westcon, Helen Allcock joins from out of the industry but has an impressive telesales and call centre background and finally Mathew Emeny joins us from Generation Hire and Sale.

The four new members will commence an extensive training programme over the next few months to allow them to be integrated into the existing sales department and be able to back up the existing team, especially at those peak times in the afternoon.

Commenting on their recruitment, Commercial Manager, Martin Eccleston said ‘After an extensive recruitment drive we have found four new members of staff that have the ability and the customer focus, to fit in with our existing well established team and provide the level of support and professionalism that our customers have come to expect.’ Eccleston continued ‘Our plan is to free up the time of some of our existing members to allow them to become more proactive and provide greater back up to the field sales team.’
