Internet Service Provider NewNet plc has appointed Cathie Tufnail as Channel Manager to drive the recruitment of new strategic partners and growth of its channel sales.
Tufnail brings 5 years of sales experience within the telecoms market with 4 years direct channel experience. She was previously Business Development Manager at Uniworld where she was responsible for the channel partner training scheme specializing in channel regeneration and played an instrumental role in launching an industry leading incentive scheme to the channel.
The appointment has been made to further promote NewNet’s full product portfolio in particular NewNet’s LLU service offering through the reseller channel.
Despite the economic downturn, over the past two months NewNet has doubled subscribers on its LLU unbundled exchanges and continues to unbundle more exchanges offering businesses award winning connectivity solutions.

My first job will be to consolidate the existing channel base before looking to expand business within the channel primarily focusing on NewNet’s LLU services.”
Tufnail’s role will include working closely with Paul Schneider, Sales Director to further extend the company’s channel focus and partner relationships.
