UKFast Launches Internal Database Administration Service

UKFast launched its new database administration service this week, responding to the needs of businesses to better manage big data.

As more and more businesses prepare themselves for the demands of big data, companies – especially ecommerce sites – are realising the importance of implementing an IT infrastructure designed specifically to cope with this huge growth. Known as database administration, UKFast has developed a solution to deliver essential backup, high performance and recoverability for simplified management.

Operating internally from the firm’s Manchester-based headquarters, the company’s latest innovation gives both UKFast and its customers a significant boost in handling big data.

UKFast CEO, Lawrence Jones, commented: “Innovation and efficiency are our main focuses at UKFast and providing DBA in-house, rather than through external agencies, means we provide the quickest and the best service to our clients. We’re giving our clients direct access to our engineers who are qualified in MySQL, Oracle and MS SQL, guaranteeing an instant response to any database issues.”

UKFast’s technicians undergo continual training and examinations to develop and maintain their Oracle and MS SQL qualifications – allowing the company to offer unrivalled expertise on a wide number of databases to its diverse client base.
