Zen Internet launches new Wholesale Partner Programme

Zen Internet has announced the launch of a new Wholesale Partner Programme for Partners who wish to focus on more sophisticated customer solutions based on Zen’s business class services, such as Leased Lines, IP VPNs and Managed Hosting. These Partners, say Zen, will enjoy competitive margins plus comprehensive support and will be responsible for managing their customer relationships including first-line support and billing provision.

‘Zen will work with Wholesale Partners to develop mutually beneficial relationships and identify opportunities to grow their business, focusing on elements of the Zen portfolio that complement their business strategy,’ said Andrew Saunders, Head of Product Management and Marketing, Zen Internet.

The new Wholesale Partner Programme has been developed after consultation with Partners and is an addition to Zen’s existing Partner Programme, which was established 8 years ago.

The benefits of the Wholesale Partner Programme according to Zen include: competitive discounts applied at the point of purchase rather than commission payments, strategic annual account plans, specialised training on Zen’s products and services enabling Partners to confidently handle their customer’s technical support enquiries, tailored marketing support and pre-sales consultancy support.

‘We have been using Zen connectivity for a number of years, alongside a number of other providers. It is through the continued use of the Zen product range that we have found them to be the most stable, reliable and helpful provider of connectivity solutions,’ said James Hawker, Chief Executive, Bluecube Technology Solutions – one of the first partners to sign-up to the new programme.

‘When Zen told us about the Wholesale Partner Programme we jumped at the opportunity, as it allows us to provide our clients with reliable connectivity solutions, as well as giving our support teams access to first class support from Zen. The Wholesale model also ensures that our prices remain competitive and clients happy. Zen Internet has a culture that fits our own, one centered around excellent customer service. The Bluecube and Zen partnership is already proving to be a successful mix,’ added James.

‘Zen has a successful history with its Channel Partners, this is evidence of Partners’ confidence in the company and the long term focus of Managing Director Richard Tang,’ said Andrew Saunders.

Zen operates a fully diverse 10Gbps MPLS core network with Points of Presence in Leeds, Manchester, London and Rochdale and offers UK wide Ethernet and leased line services. This allows it to provide UK wide IP VPN capability that is highly scalable, secure, reliable and ready for convergence applications including VoIP, Video Conferencing and Unified Communication.

Zen’s network philosophy of ‘no single point of failure’ also extends to geographic diversity and includes a primary transatlantic link from Southport to New York, so unlike 85% of UK internet traffic it does not route though London. This means Partners are assured of a reliable and resilient service as well as consistent speeds.

From Zen’s Tier 3 data centre located at its Rochdale HQ, it offers a range of hosting and co-location services. It also offers data centre capacity in central Manchester, Leeds and London. Complementing its hosting, internet, Ethernet and IP VPN services, it has a range of SIP trunk products available today and is developing further voice centric IP services.

‘‘The launch of Zen’s Wholesale Partner Programme clearly demonstrates our commitment to working with our Partners and expanding our existing Programme to meet all their requirements. We will continue to work with Partners who share a desire to provide an excellent end-to-end customer experience and understand the value of offering reliable, award winning products and services’, added Saunders.
