It’s doesn’t look much, but the Sharp 904SH is a mighty clever 3G handset . For a start the screen has four times the resolution of current QVGA LCDs, making it possible to reproduce visuals and render small characters with more vividness and clarity than before.

Then there’s Bluetooth-based instant messaging and multiplayer games. And it’s the first handset to feature a motion control sensor which is capable of measuring handset posture in all directions in 3D. And on top of that there’s a Face Recognition feature for enhanced security and privacy protection – it automatically activates when the phone is opened and can authenticates the user in under a second.
It’s only available in Japan, of course.
