Hosted by the Contact Centre Management Association, the awards celebrate best practice and service excellence in Irish contact centres. Now in their 13th year, the awards provide contact centres, help desks and customer service organisations throughout Ireland with the recognition they deserve for delivering excellence in the industry, which currently employs approximately 20,000 people. Competition at the 2008 awards was higher than ever this year, with 29 companies shortlisted and more than 150 companies (a record number) submitting entries across the 15 categories.
Commenting on the win, Jason Flynn, Country Manager, Avaya Ireland said; "Winning the award is testament to the premium standard of service our international sales team provides to Avaya's business customers. In an industry which is increasingly competitive, to be recognised as the best in our field is a tremendous achievement for all involved."
Annette Hickey, Chair of the CMMA said, "The competition was significant in this category but Avaya demonstrated it had an extremely good track record in terms of client service and reliability. Avaya is thoroughly deserving of the award and I congratulate the international sales team and the company as a whole on their achievement."
