Focus Group has invested in Contact Systems, a specialist CCaaS provider based in Altrincham, Cheshire. Contact Systems serves customers under its Make.Contact brand.
Focus Group said the investment aims to bolster its CX portfolio and reinforce its commitment to driving results for its customers using connected cloud technologies.
The CX capabilities of Contact Systems will be brought into Focus Group’s end-to-end digital transformation solutions that include unified communications, IT and cybersecurity. Focus Group aims to help clients plan, build, migrate, and operate in the cloud.
Rhys Bailey, interim CEO, Focus Group (pictured), said, “Contact System’s customer-first philosophy, depth of CX expertise and entrepreneurial spirit make them the perfect fit for Focus Group.
“We’re committed to investing in our cloud capabilities and excited about the possibilities this development brings to the wider group. It’s a logical step and brings us much closer to the forefront of omnichannel contact centre solutions.’
Matt Jones, director, Contact Systems, added, “By joining forces with Focus Group, we combine our expertise in CX engineering, design, and development with Focus Group’s dedication to delivering cutting-edge solutions in the realms of voice, IT and cybersecurity.
“It’s an exciting partnership and we know that the reputation, growth mindset and culture that Focus Group bring to the table is going to elevate our business to the next level.
The owners of Contact Systems will remain shareholders, with the broader team to continue working from the business's established base in Cheshire.
This latest transaction comes seven months after Focus Group secured investment from Hg, an investor in European and transatlantic software and services businesses. Since then, Focus Group has acquired Midland Telecom, Cellular Solutions, and Entropie, as well as making an investment in Hampshire-based Silver Lining.
