Intrinsic invests £600k in Fusion service desk

Intrinsic Technology has invested over £600k to develop and refine Fusion, its managed services offering, as it continues its drive towards becoming a £100 million business.

Fusion monitors and maintains all aspects of customers’ IT infrastructure. It was designed to provide access to leading network technologies and IT management expertise without requiring high initial capital investment or unexpected operational expenditure. The £600k has been invested in both technical tools and staff, with an aim to improve overall user experience.

The development comes as Intrinsic looks to shift its focus to more predictive and pre-emptive services. Outsourcing day-to-day IT management has become ever more important for businesses, as they look to free up the internal IT department in exchange for predictable support costs.

Gregg Spooner, head of cloud and managed services, Intrinsic Technology, commented: “We recognise that in order to grow as a business, we have to invest. These improvements will go a long way to helping us achieve out ambitious growth plans.

“Intrinsic’s ethos is built around service and support, so Fusion really is the cornerstone of the business.”
