Director of Development Steve Cresswell commented: “I am very proud of the hard work the team has put into this achievement. We were also the first to go ‘live’ with WLR3 for ISDN30 back in May so I think the channel can clearly see that we are leading the way with this technology”
During the last few months Union Street have completely re-written and implemented a new WLR3 server application to replace the original one. The new product enables Union Street to seamlessly upgrade customers as BT launch new releases of the EMP.
“The new platform has been extremely stable since its introduction in September, it also has ample scalability to cope with our expected growth over the next five years.” said Saf Ghouri, Operations Manager.
“Union Street already have over 50 customers using the WLR3 solution and discovering its many benefits, especially when integrated with the billing platform. We are expecting many more CPs to move to WLR3 in 2009, as ISDN2 rolls out. We are also eagerly awaiting an official announcement from BT regarding the withdrawal of WLR2. I think this will also be a huge driver for change” he added.
